The Daily Pic - Muhly Grass

Question for you....do you take your camera with you when you go garage saleing?  You should...you never know when you'll spot something photo worthy.  For example, this past weekend, when I saw the most beautiful ornamental grass.  I bought a baking dish but I also got permission to take some pictures of their yard.  It's called Muhly Grass.  I had never seen or heard of it before, but I'm definitely a fan!

So this will be the last post featuring the photo of the palm tree that I took on September 20, 2011.  Click here to see the original photo and my first set of designs, my second set of designs or my third set of designs.

In this last set of designs, I used the colored blocks that I posted as part of my third set.  I took the blocks, put them together and then made a few alterations.  What do you think?  :) Rachael

The Design of a Palm Tree - 1

So it's no surprise to anyone who has viewed my blog before that I enjoy photography.  What you may not know is that I also do graphic design.

I took this photograph of a palm tree, September 20, 2011, in Melbourne, Florida.

I then digitally manipulated the image to come up with some cool alternative images....check them out!

Moss Roses - I love these bright, cheerful flowers, whose blooms open every morning to the sun and close up every evening...waiting to open again the next day.

The Daily Pic - Mystery Succulent

I bought this small, mystery, succulent at a garage sale last year...I have no idea what it is.  However, 1 year later, and I now have at least 20 new plants growing.  It's unusual looking and I like it.  If you have any idea what it is, please leave a comment and let me know!
