Round Robin Photo Challenge: BIG

The Challenge: Size is relative, so you've got a large amount of leeway on this!  Maybe it's something larger than life, like a fifty foot statue of a small bird. Maybe it's an extra large example of whatever it is: the biggest cat you've ever seen, a pumpkin big enough for Cinderella to ride in, or a 10,000 piece jigsaw puzzle. Whatever you chose to photograph, the Challenge will be to impress the view with how BIG it looks in the picture!

BIG: Photo 1

I have lived in Florida for over 5 years now, and this is by far the largest Palm tree that I have ever seen!  Look at how it as at least 2x taller than the large Oak tree behind the house.  This picture was taken June 17, 2011, at Lake Underhill Park in Orlando, Florida.

  1. Hi, Rachael! Is this your first Round Robin Photo Challenge? If so, then welcome to the Robins! (If not, then welcome anyway.) You're right, that is an especially tall palm, dwarfing the other trees by quite a bit. But I especially like the condo shot, the way you've angled the photo to emphasize the size. Well done!
